① An indication meter having an excellent reaction sensitivity to nasty smell components of alcohol types and aldehyde types through the present invention could be obtained. The indication meter detects nasty smell component rapidly and accurately, which are factors having a direct influence on the quality of fresh food such as sealing packed fruits and vegetables. Accordingly, consumers can easily recognize the freshness of fresh food such as fruits and vegetables with the naked eye.
② It could be confirmed that a ferment reaction type indication meter obtained through experimental processes is an indication meter for detecting freshness of fresh food, having a very high sensitivity to alcohol and aldehyde and having an excellent reaction representation ability depending on a change of colors.
