This product can be converted into a unicycle just for one or two minutes by disassembling and assembling a common bicycle, so that anybody can easily use the unicycle without buying the unicycle additionally.
In the history of bicycles, a normal bicycle has been upgraded by mounting gears thereto, and so, this product is a bicycle further upgraded from the upgraded bicycle.
For example, cars were nothing but vehicles in the old days, but as a result of the continuous development, optional products, such as a power handle, an air conditioner, an ABS brake and the likes, were mounted on the cars, and so, now, we can hardly find cars, which have no such options.
If you now manufacture cars, which have no air conditioners, and give them to a car salesman saying “cars without air conditioners were sold well in former days, and so, could be sold even now”, even the salesman who has good selling means has difficulty in selling a car per month. It is so difficult to return to the initial state once it was upgraded. Particularly, to hold fast to the old thing in these days when everything changes every moment means weeding-out.
In this era, mediocrity is difficult to survive since all things are in saturation. Something different can attract any attention, can’t it?
Questionnaires were made up to middle and high school students, who want to buy bicycles in the future or who want to replace an old bicycle with a new bicycle. In selection of a common bicycle and a unicycle, nearly 90% of the respondents preferred the unicycle to the common bicycle. The unicycle gives amusement to disassemble and assemble the bicycle. The unicycle not only arouses teenagers’ curiosity, but also gives a sense of achievement, a freshness of non-mediocrity, a spirit of challenge and breaking of a fixed idea since the teenagers can ride on the unicycles after disassembling and assembling it with their hands. Breaking of the fixed idea is very important to teenagers, who have the infinite possibility. Through mass communication, I have seen that children in Japan compulsorily ride on the unicycles to cultivate a sense of balance when they are elementary school students as children in Korea jump rope. You can feel that a sense of balance, power and thinking power grow better if you ride on the unicycle.
In case of the common bicycles, the straight type structure formed among the front wheel, a handle part and an axle can be converted into a “ㄷ”-shaped structure, so that anybody can easily separate the front wheel from the rear body, and the left pedal can be easily assembled to and disassembled from the body, but the right pedal cannot be easily assembled and disassembled due to a technical problem. However, this product is constructed in such a way as to be used as the common bicycle and the unicycle by solving the above problems of the existing common bicycles. If the above contents are applied to bicycles, which will be produced in the future, not only bicycles for children but also MTBs (Mountain Bikes) reaching millions of wons can be used as the unicycle.
