Sangji Technic (CEO Hoyeong Choi) announced that it has developed constant current converters for LED lamps such as straight fluorescent lamps. The converters convert AC current to DC current and send the DC current to LEDs. The products developed by the company flows a constant current of 570 mA irrespective of the number of LEDs which are serially connected.
In existing LED lamps, about 10 LEDs are mounted in each module. Whenever a product specification is changed to change the number of LEDs, a converter should also be changed. However, the converters of Sangji Technic do not need to be exchanged whether the number of LEDs is increased or decreased. Accordingly, LED lamps can be freely designed when they are developed. When a user exchanges a defective converter, the user can exchange the defective converter with a converter of Sangji Technic irrespective of its lamp manufacturer.
Sanjgi Technic has filed a lot of patents related to converters for LED lamps. Mr. Choi says that since the developed products can be used irrespective of lamp manufacturers, compatibility is very high. |
