A Korean venture firm took a legal action with respect to a patent infringement against a global smart phone maker.
The patent that In-Sprit argues is infringed relates to ‘an apparatus and method for controlling and using resources on an idle screen for mobile phone terminals’.
The technology is for updating and using Internet information in real time on an idle screen of a mobile device such as a smart phone or a smart pad (tablet PC).
In-Sprit commonly used idle screen service solution in 2004 for the first time in the world, and has been recognized as a company that owns core patents and technology in this field.
In-Sprit sent a warning to the corresponding infringer to stop infringement and take an appropriate action. In-Sprit is expected to take further action such as a lawsuit according to the infringer’s response.
