The Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) visited the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (GPMA) at Munich, Germany and held ‘Korea-Germany Patent Conference’ and agreed on a Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH).
PPH is a system that provides accelerated patent prosecution procedures by sharing information between participating countries.
It allows the participating patent office to benefit from the work carried out by the other patent office, with the goal of reducing examination workload and improving patent quality.
