The Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) announced that the "Demanded Technology Survey Project" is underway. The project involves excavation of tailored patent technology to satisfy needs of companies and preliminary founders, the mediation of technology trasfers, and business consultation, and financial technology support work.
The KIPO has conducted the project in order to support open technology innovation and promote patent technology utilization. It is desinged to mediate excellent patent technologies, through purchase or licensing, to any companies, preliminary founders, or technology investors that need patent technology.
The project provides any technologies requested by a tailored patent technology profile to support a new technology achievement of companies. The tailored patent technology will come from the 40,000-case technology DB of IP-Mart and technology trade neworks, home and abroad. The KIPO will support technology transfers needed by companies through technology selection by patent trade experts and provide transfer counseling. In addition, as part of technology transfer capital support activities, the KIPO will help companies get capital support from the Korea Development Bank and the KIBO Technology Fund. |
