Info Bank announced that they won their suit for ban on patent infringement against Homey Interactive.
Info Bank claimed that Homey Interactive infringed on the patent rights of Info Bank’s Mobile Originated (MO) service patent.
This ruling reconfirmed Info Bank’s rights to the core technology of MP service that is being recognized as the new business for Korean mobile industry.
Furthermore, Info Bank was able to assert its position as the sole holder of the patent regarding MO.
Info Bank currently provides bi-directional media service that utilizes MO service to important Korean portals such as NHN and SK Communications, as well as various broadcasting firms such as KBS, SBS, and On Media.
